Bead Peeps Swap

Time for the Bead Peeps Swap post...    First I would like to thank our hostess Linda Anderson for organizing yet another wonderful hop..
I received my fabulous beads from Shaiha Williams of AlchemeeDesigns.com and  shailasramblings.com..   Totally thrilled with the section from Shai.  I have never worked with sari silk before so it was a challenge to be sure.. Loved the colours.

This is what Shai sent me:

Here is what I sent Shai

Now for what I made

Didn't quite get all the beads used but I do have plans for them..  Hope you love the pieces !!
Having trouble with my lap top  will try  and fix the list later.

Good job! My favorite is the first necklace. I love the focal bead and the necklace you made with it.

I just love all the beautiful designs you made especially that first necklace. And isn't that silk fun? It feels so luxurious against the skin.

So many beautiful designs! Great use of the silk for a first time...I bet now you will find all sorts of fun ways to use it and it does feel divine against the neck in a necklace.

I think you did a great job with the sari silk. I particularly like the necklace with the brass toggle and fringe as well as the bracelet with the green silk. You got so much made and really rocked this challenge.

You made some lovely pieces here and did a great job experimenting with the sari silk. Nicely done!

Hi Fay, Kudos for using the sari silk so well. The first necklace is my favorite. It is blue so of course I like it best.

Love all the pieces and the added texture with the silk, I've never used silk either but you found a way to incorporate it in almost every piece! My favorites are the necklace with the turquoise beads and dangles and the bracelet with the green silk! I love the pink silk wrapped chain, what an interesting effect!

My favorite piece is the first--the blue necklace. I love the simplicity. It is a very elegant. Well done!

Faye - Beautiful pieces! I love how you wrapped the silk through the chain and using the clasp in the front. The silk adds softness, both visually and obviously physically. It's also a great way to cover up chain you may not like ;) I, also, love seeing clasps in the front.... it gives the clasp a chance to shine...which isn't always the case. =) BEAUTIFUL work!
